The BIOS of ECS KN1SLI Extreme is built on the Award BIOS Phoenix version.

It should be noted that during the tests we had nothing to complain about the compatibility of the motherboard to varied memory modules. Now move on to the section to do with the system monitoring.

The board is able monitoring the current temperature of the processor and system, voltage levels, as well as the rotational speeds of the four (of five) fans. Unfortunately, missing is the feature for adjusting the rotational speed of the cooler depending on the processor temperature.
